The course is intended for participants who wish to gain programming skills for SIMATIC S7-1200/1500 controllers using the high-level language TIA-SCL.
Practical reinforcement of programming skills is carried out through exercises performed on workstations equipped with a programmer and a SIMATIC S7-1200/1500 controller.
Course duration: 5 days.
1. Overview of the TIA Portal software.
2. Developing blocks in the TIA-SCL high-level programming language.
3. Basic concepts of the S7-SCL language (identifiers, keywords, symbols, comments, variables).
4. Data types (elementary, composite, user-defined, and parametric).
5. Declaration of local variables and formal block parameters (declaration syntax, initialization of various data types, multi-variant representation of variables, multi-instance call, variable declaration section).
6. CPU memory areas and addressing methods.
7. Expressions (operators and operands), arithmetic, logic, comparison, and parentheses operations.
8. Timers and counters.
9. Working with functions in the SCL language (data type conversion functions, numeric functions, shift functions, system functions).
10. Compiling, debugging, and downloading blocks to the controller.
