Description
The course is intended for engineers and programmers in the field of process visualization systems who have basic knowledge of the WinCC package and wish to enhance their qualifications in this area. The course material focuses on the capabilities and approaches to design automation and diagnostics. Additionally, the most frequently used optional packages are covered within the course.
It is recommended that participants take this course only after completing the course "Design of Visualization and Control Subsystems Using the WinCC Package".
Practical exercises are carried out on a PC PII using S7 300/400 training workstations.
Course duration: 5 days.
1. Overview of the main optional packages.
2. Overview of the set of auxiliary programs supplied with WinCC.
3. VBScript and advanced Cscript course: Windows API, WinCC API, functions in TagLogging and AlarmLogging.
4. Fundamentals of SQL and the use of ADO.
5. Programming in VBA for WinCC.
6. Using COM technology.
7. The "Options for Process Control" optional package set.
8. The "UserArchives" optional package.
9. The "WebNavigator" optional package.
